Seattle View Ridge Dream Transformation Kitchen and Bathrooms Remodel 

The original kitchen layout failed functionally, so several walls were knocked down to create an open concept kitchen, dining, and living experience. New built-in storage in the dining room provides seating and storage space, while bookshelves built on either side of the fireplace unify the once alienated spaces. The addition of a large island and smart cabinetry provides the hidden storage our clients were seeking.

A custom hood vent that follows the shape of the vaulted ceilings also makes a stunning centerpiece. Off-white diamond mosaic tiles speak to the playful geometric side of the client’s style, which complements the more subdued Pental Quartz countertops. New windows above the sink open views to the backyard and flood the previously dim space with natural light. If that weren’t enough, modern glass shade pendants dot the ceiling to provide visual interest and ambient lighting.

It’s hard to believe why anyone called this the “Master” bathroom before. Aside from requiring a wholly new expanded floor plan, this outdated room needed updated fixtures and a more suitable shower to suit the most adorned bathroom in the home. We borrowed space from behind the existing walls to push the entire layout east and create enough room for a gorgeous floating double vanity and walk-in shower!
