Seattle Laurelhurst Updated Look Bathroom Remodel
Aging in the home is becoming more and more popular. That is precisely why our clients wanted to update their current bathroom in their Laurelhurst home, so they could enjoy it for years to come. Removing the tub to create a walk-in shower, we allowed easy mobility for future use.

A custom shower curb with a low profile helps keep the wet area contained and provides an easy transition in and out of this location with minimal effort. Another age-in-place design choice was to add grab bars in the shower for support and ease.

Since this bathroom had a small footprint, to begin with, glass walls in the shower helped create a more open feel, letting natural light fill the space and highlighting the gorgeous blue hex floor tile. The cool tones complement this blue pop of color in the chrome fixtures and white walls. Overall, this space is a timeless bathroom to transition into.
