How to Enter

STEP 1
Gather Your Supplies

You will need . . .

Prebaked kit or homemade gingerbread dough. Whether you’re an adventurous baker or in a hurry - the cookies can be store-bought or from scratch.

Sturdy base. A wooden board or piece of cardboard will hold your house steady.

Royal icing in a piping bag. Icing will not only act as the cement for your sweet structure; you can use it for embellishment and pattern on your design.

Assortment of candies and chocolates. Gumdrops, chocolates, and peppermints – or whatever candy your heart desires – add color and personality to your creation.

STEP 2
Build Your House

Assemble the walls. Ice the edges of your gingerbread walls and carefully put them together. Rest the house against something sturdy, like a box, while the icing sets.

Release your inner designer. Show off your unique artistic flair with lots and lots of decorations.

Remember: Anyone can win! Gingerbread houses aren’t meant to be perfect; they’re meant to spread joy. You don’t need to be an expert baker to create a prize-worthy house.
